Wayne John Lapawchuk was born on April 29,1950,in
Berwyn and passed away peacefully at home on February
25,2026,in   Edmonton.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Shirley; his  children, Dale(Rose)and  Jill  (Joel);his  cherished
grandchildren, Myrika, Ariana, Ben and Liv; his siblings Pat, Janet, and Lorraine; as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.

Wayne loved the simple pleasures in life -trolling on a
quiet  lake, sitting  around  a  campfire  sharing  stories, and, of course ,buying  boats  (sometimes  more  enthusiastically
than he needed to).He was happiest near the water, where time slowed down and laughter came easily.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, caregivers. and home care staff who showed their kind support and care. We especially thank Nam, Etienne ,and Jolene for the support that went beyond patient  care.

We are at peace with the passing of Wayne/Dad/Papa   knowing he has gone fishing -and imagine the fish are already nervous.
