Warren Hancock Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Warren Braylor Hancock, who left this world on the morning of October 19, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta, at the impossibly young age of 21.

Warren was born on December 16, 2003, in Lethbridge, Alberta, and grew up in and around Edmonton, Alberta. From a young age, Warren was endlessly curious and passionate about the world around him. He loved cars of all kinds and could name nearly every dinosaur by its scientific name. His wide- ranging interests reflected a brilliant and creative mind, and a deep curiosity about existence itself.

Music was one of Warren’s greatest joys and his most powerful form of self- expression. He found solace in creating his own songs, using his lyrics and beats to process pain, reflect on his life, and share his inner world. Exploring the genre of rap allowed him to give voice to the emotions and struggles he carried, and to transform hardship into art. Under the name 369king cherubium EnLIL, he released over twenty original tracks on SoundCloud — a lasting legacy of his creativity and courage to express truth through music.

Warren faced many challenges and hardships in his life, yet through it all, he carried within him a deep well of humor, kindness, and love. He had an unforgettable smile, a joyful laugh, and a mind that loved to explore the deeper and more spiritual sides of life. Those who knew him will remember his open heart, his thought-provoking conversations, and his appreciation for the simple and beautiful moments.

Warren is survived by his mother, Tracy Mannell and his father, Joe Hancock, as well as his siblings Breann Hahn, Taylor de Roy, Brock Boreham, Cyana Shanks, and Maximus Shanks as well as many family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and will live on through the music and memories he leaves behind.

A celebration of Warren’s life will be held on November 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home, 6403 Roper Road Edmonton, Alberta, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory, his creativity, and the light he brought to those around him.
