With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of our father and grandfather, Mastan Singh Garcha, on July 11, 2024, at the age of 100. 

Sardar Mastan Singh Garcha's memory will be cherished by his wife, Sardarni Narinder Kaur Garcha; his children, Ravinder Kaur Kainth & Davinder Singh Kainth, Karmjit Singh Garcha & Rajinder Kaur Garcha, and Davinder Kaur Sra & Tekhinderpal Singh Sra; and his grandchildren; Amy Maghera, Navita Maghera, Charnjot Singh Kainth, Taranjot Singh Garcha, Taranjit Kaur Garcha, Binwant Kaur Garcha, Jotbir Singh Garcha, Ishvinder Kaur Kainth, Amandeep Kaur Garcha, Manmohanmeet Kaur Sra, Etinder Kaur Kainth and Harsimran Kaur Garcha. 

He was predeceased by his daughter, Parminder Kaur Maghera, and his son, Inderjit Singh Garcha. 

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday July 21, 2024 at Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home located at 6403 Roper Road at 12 p.m. 

The Antum Ardas will be held after the Funeral Service at Ramgharia Gurdwara located at 2606 Millwoods Road East. 

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the following: first, to his doctors, including Dr. Balvinder Singh Jassar who took care of him like a father and whom Sardar Mastan Singh treated like a son, as well as Dr. Jatinder Singh Parhar who showed him utmost respect and Jasbir Singh Bhui and the entire Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy team who took care of his medical needs with diligence and extreme care - all were near and dear to his heart just like his own children; second, to his caregivers Preet & Prabhjot with whom he shared care and laughter; and finally, the staff at Grey Nuns Hospital who took care of him until the end.
