He met the love of his life when he started high school in town, they dated and then wed in 1959. They were together till her passing in 2017 for 65 years. They had 3 wonderful children. Dad later took a job with the Co operators, starting in claims and worked his way to General Manager Claims West Division until he retired. They remained in Edmonton and dad took up golfing with a great bunch of guys till he could no longer do it after 2 strokes in 2018.
They loved to travel and saw many sites finally settling down winter roots in Mazatlan. He could be found sitting on the beach with a cerveza in hand working on his tan. He met many good friends that he held dear to his heart up to his passing. He was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was a warm, giving, kind, caring man who had a kind word and smile to all who knew him.
