Ron Marshall from Edmonton Alberta has sadly lost his battle with cancer and passed away at the age of 53 on Dec 7th.
Ron is survived by his children; Tabetha, Charlie and Hunter, adored mother; Sharon, his beloved grandmother; Isobel, his brothers; Mark and Matt (Tara) and his niece and nephew; Brooks and Lana. He is predeceased by his father, Stewart.
Ron was born on Feb 24th, 1971 to Stewart and Sharon Marshall. He engaged in numerous work ventures in his life from teaching English overseas in China, by day, and singing in his rock band “The Dama Llamas”, by night, touring gigs all over China. He always brought laughter to those around him and for a portion of his life he brought laughter to audiences during his time on stage as a stand up comedian with his sharp humour and ability to light up any room. His comedic spirit always continued to touch lives with his ability to connect through storytelling and his kindness.
He was a devoted father and avid fisherman, his other hobbies included, Dungeons and Dragons and anything Star Wars as he was the Director of the Echo Base Temple Saber guild under the name Rolland Jadeonar/Darth Mythomane preforming choreographed lightsaber shows for charity and other events. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
