Rani Mulchand Punjabi

It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our beloved Rani Punjabi on July 3, 2024, at the age of 80.  

Born on March 7, 1944, she led a fulfilled life in India, Bahrain, and Canada. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose kindness, energy, and compassion touched all our lives in countless ways. 

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Mulchand; Sons, Vijay and Sanjay and their wives Payal and Diyaa; Grandchildren, Khushboo, Mahek and Yash, alongside many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital and St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital for their kindness, support, and care shown to Rani during her time there.

Her legacy will live on in our hearts, and we find comfort in knowing she is at peace. Thank you for your love, support, and understanding. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this time of mourning and remembrance.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home, 6403 Roper Rd NW, Edmonton, AB.
