In Loving Memory of Pavan Chohan
January 13, 1946 – October 29, 2025
It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Pavan Chohan, who left us peacefully at home on October 29, 2025, surrounded by his devoted wife and beloved children. He was 79 years old.

Born on January 13, 1946, in Ludhiana, India, Pavan’s life was one marked by courage, hard work, and devotion to family. In 1972 he journeyed to Canada, embracing a new beginning. Shortly thereafter, he returned to India, where he married the love of his life, Mohini, on May 15, 1976. Together, they began their shared life in Canada in 1977, building a home and family rooted in love, integrity, and perseverance.

Pavan is survived by his wife of 49 wonderful years, Mohini Chohan; his three cherished children — Rita (Jag), Anita (Ravi), and Shawn (Preeti) — and his eleven adored grandchildren: Hareena, Roheen, Miyah, Siyrah, Sahana, Raya, Kaycer, Soran, Saavin, Jaxx, and Bowie. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and his influence will forever live on through them.

As the patriarch of the Chohan family, Pavan’s strength, resilience, and wisdom shaped generations. He taught by example — through kindness, perseverance, and an unwavering sense of responsibility. His stories, laughter, and life lessons will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know him.

We will miss him every day, but we find comfort in knowing that his love surrounds us still — in our memories, our traditions, and in the family he so deeply nurtured.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday November 6, 2025 at 1:00pm at Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home 6403 Roper Road NW Edmonton.
