Pardeep Singh, age 23, of Edmonton, passed away peacefully on November 23rd at the University of Alberta Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 15th, 2002, Pardeep came into the world as a healthy child. However, after a few days, he developed jaundice, which ultimately left him with cerebral palsy. Despite this early challenge, Pardeep lived a truly joyful and love-filled life.
His family—his father Surinder Singh, mother Parmjit Kaur, brother Sukhmandeep Singh, and sister Harmanpreet Kaur—devoted themselves wholeheartedly to giving him the best life possible. Every day of his journey was wrapped in love, kindness, and unwavering care, ensuring he received everything his heart desired and more.
Pardeep showed incredible strength throughout a fierce three-month battle in the hospital, overcoming many challenges with courage and resilience. Despite his determination, he was called to rest, leaving his family with cherished memories, deep love, and an unbreakable bond that will remain forever.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at the University of Alberta Hospital who cared for Pardeep and supported the family throughout his journey. A special thank you goes to the dedicated doctors and nurses in the ICU, whose compassion, patience, and tireless efforts brought comfort during the most difficult moments.
A public viewing will be held for his loved ones on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (MST) at Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home, located at 6403 Roper Road, Edmonton, AB T6B 3G6.
