Sohi, Nitu (née Malhotra)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nitu Sohi (née Malhotra) on August 13, 2025. She was a beloved wife to Jaskaran Sohi, and mother to her two children Avani and Niyam. She will be missed by her parents Subhash and Veena Malhotra, her siblings Reema (Shanu), Sonia and Neel, and her niece Layla. Her mother and father in-law Rupinder and Kesar Sohi, and her brother-in-law Harjot (Namrita) and nieces Sayva and Ajooni. Nitu was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She obtained a law degree from the United Kingdom and practiced law at home in Edmonton.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, AB.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday August 17, 2025 3:00 pm at Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home 6403 Roper Rd Edmonton
