Manjit Kaur Matharoo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, auntieji, grandmother, and sister Manjit Kaur Matharoo (Saggu) who passed away on October 9, 2024 at the age of 82 years. Manjit is survived by her three children and their partners; Charanjit, Gurmeet, Barahmjit, Sukhdeep, Inderjit, and Parneet. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; Karanvir, Mandeep, Angadvir, Jashanvir, Ayushvir, Ronakvir, and Gurnoor.

She is also survived by her sister Gurnam Kaur Matharoo, her partner Jaswant Singh Matharoo, and their children Jasgurdip, Manjit, Jasvinder, and Gurinder. She was also a second grandmother to 7 grandchildren Navneet, Gugandeep, Amandeep, Puneet, Ramandeep, Rupinder, and Navdeep. She was predeceased by Balwant Singh Matharoo in 2012 to whom she was married to for over 40 years.

A funeral Service will be held Saturday October 19, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home 6403 Roper Rd Edmonton.
