Louise Arlene Pearson

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Louise Arlene Pearson [nee Lorenz] in Edmonton on July 30, 2025, at the age of 88 years. Louise will be sadly missed by Terry, her husband of 66 years, her brothers and sisters; Edward [Linda], Lionel [Gail], Ronald [Barbara], Marlene Risling, and Annette [Barry] Davidson and brother in laws; Patrick (Valerie) Pearson, Brian (Dianne) Pearson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Louise was predeceased by her son Charles Alexander Gregory (“Greg”), her sister Vivian Dexter and brother Norbert.

Louise was born in Lashburn, Saskatchewan, and grew up in the Lloydminster area. She came to Edmonton to pursue a career in Nursing, achieving accreditation as a Registered Nurse. Louise enjoyed a lengthy career with tenures at the Edmonton General, Royal Alex, University, and Grey Nuns hospitals.

A Mass for Louise will be held at the Assumption Catholic Parish (9034-95th Ave, Edmonton) at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 7, with a Celebration of Life to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Louise may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
