Jaswinder Pal Singh Bhogal

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Jaswinder Pal Singh, who left us for his heavenly abode on October 20, 2024 at the age of 69. A pillar of strength and a beacon of love, his absence leaves a painful void in our lives.

JP, as he was affectionately known, was born to Tarlochan and Narinder Bhogal on August 29, 1955 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He left India in his early twenties to begin his career abroad and eventually moved to Kuwait where he established a successful business and lived happily with his wife and children for nearly 40 years. In 2019, he moved to Edmonton, Canada, where he lived the rest of his life with his family.

He was known for his fun-loving personality, generosity, fashion sense, and fondness for sweets. He was kind-hearted, helpful, intelligent, and a wonderful family man.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ravinder, his children; Muninder and Manvir, daughter-in-laws; Sheena and Ramneet, and Grandchildren; Suhana and Sehaj. He will be dearly missed by his sisters; Inderpal, Sukhpal, and Rajpal, brother-in-laws; Gurdip and Narinder, as well as nephews, nieces and relatives near and far.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home, 6403 Roper Rd NW, Edmonton, AB.
