April 15, 1972 – February 29, 2024
It is with much sadness and great sorrow to announce the passing of our dear Jason Yarmuch, a beloved partner, son, brother (22), and friend.
With his passions for mechanics, woodworking, electronics and everything in between – backed with the vast knowledge and knowhow to fix seemingly everything – Jason was always a quick call away to lend a hand (or tool) to a friend. His knowledge extended into his career as a parts professional, often having people stumped with his ability to recall #’s or changes made from years prior. A Jack-of-All-Trades and a true Handyman.
Jason loved to gather with friends, whether it be: a beer after work, wing nights, concert going, a random wrestling match, grabbing an Iced Cap, a phone conversation, or hosting BBQ’s (which often led to his bragging of making the best smoked brisket out there). Being able to spend time, share laughter and make memories with friends and loved ones brought him so much joy. Frequent quad trips down the Iron Horse Trail, a quick trip out on his motorbike, a cruise in his much loved truck – Jason always enjoyed going on new adventures and seeing new sights (forever with his love, Kathleen, by his side – changing the radio station and holding his hand). His quick wit and childlike humor topped with his boisterous laughter made him a magnet for people. He always wanted to make sure everyone was included, comfortable and enjoying their time.
Thank you Jason for enriching our lives and being a genuine soul to so many. We know you are up there oiling the hinges of the pearly gates so they won’t creak when we meet again.
Predeceased by Alex Yarmuch (father).
Survived by Kathleen Moore (love of his life), Natalie Yarmuch (mother), Jimmy (Arlene) Yarmuch (brother)
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in spring for all to attend and say goodbye
