Janet Barnaschone

It is with heavy hearts we announced the passing of Janet Barnaschone at the age of 66. After her courageous battle with cancer, she passed away on April 19, 2026.

Born on October 2, 1959, in Westlock, Alberta. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeremy, with whom she built a beautiful life.

Janet was a proud and loving mother to her three children, Justin, Jennifer, and Jacqueline. While she took great pride in her children’s lives, her greatest joy in recent years was her role as a grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her grandchildren: Lilly, Jaxon, Austin, Mason, and Apollo, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Shirley Reinke.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held for her at a later date.
