Dear AFRA members and members of the Public.
RE: Service/Memorial for Harshandeep Singh
The Alberta First Responders Association has been working with the family and employer of our
young fallen member, Harshandeep Singh. We will be organizing an Honor Guard to show our
respect to Mr Singh and his family There will be an Aunt. Uncle and many extended family
members in attendance as well as Harshandeeps cousins
if you wish to attend as an Honor Guard member, please email me, jerryg@ourafra.ca and
let me know which agency you are with. Arrive 2 hours early to practice and nun through the
program. There will be a limit to how many members we can use, so please don't be offended if
you are not needed. The Honor Guard will be led by the AFRAs own Sgt Major, Len Chartrand
We still would like you to attend the service.
if you cannot come as an Honor Guard member but can attend, but you have a ceremonial
uniform, please wear it. We intend to show the family that we honor their fallen as a first
responder and we will show the respect that is deserved for such a tragedy. Open to members
of the public as well, please come pay your respects.
