Gurbachan Kaur Bansal was born in 1935 in the village Badiana, district of Jalandhar to Mata Jas Kaur and Sardar Thakur Singh Flora.
They were 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Gurbachan was married to late S. Bakshish Singh Bansal of village Sarmastpur, district Jalandhar.
She survived by 1 daughter Inder Kaur Virdi (Amarjit S. Virdi) and 3 sons, Kartar Bansal (Sukhdev Kaur), Gurcharan S (Gurdip Kaur) and Gurdip Bansal (Jagdish Kaur). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Gurbachan Kaur led a very happy and healthy life. Due to her lovable nature, she was always surrounded by family and friends. She was very active in the community and regularly used to visit the Gurdwara Sahib.
She passed away in the early morning of 14th September, 2023. During her last moments, she was attended by her son, Kartar, and grandson Baljinder.
She will be deeply missed by all members of the family.
