It is with deep sorrow that the family of Glen Alan Whitman announces his passing on June 1, 2025 , at the age of 73 .

Glen was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished brother. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Fran Whitman, with whom he shared many over 49 years of love, laughter, and companionship. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Christopher (wife Kristine) and Mark (wife Lisa) Whitman, who carry forward his love and family values he instilled in them.

Glen is also survived by his brother, Gary Whitman of  Beaver Harbour, Nova Scotia, who shared a lifelong bond of family and friendship with him. Glen has two grand daughters, Kailah & Alyssa Whitman, and step-grand daughters Sydney Kostick, Alicia Dorn & Chantel Peloquin. 

Glen's warmth, quiet strength, and kind heart touched the lives of many. He lived a life grounded in integrity and compassion, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and lasting memories.  Anyone who got to know Glen, knew him as a kind heart and willing to forgo his needs for others.  He always insured that everyone felt love and was acknowledged at every family gathering.  He will be remembered by those closest to him as for his famous homemade breakfasts and the person who has two of everything.  

In accordance with his wishes, Glen has been cremated , and a Celebration of Life / Memorial Service will be held at a later date to honor and remember his life.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered support during this time. Glen will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
