Gerald John Koch

Gerald John Koch passed away at the age of 60 after a courageous battle at the University of Alberta Hospital on May 31st 2025. Gerald leaves his wife of 40 years Angela, Children Richard, Raya, Matthew, Anthony. His grandson Joshua, Brothers Denis, Andrew, Dwayne. Survived by many Nieces and Nephews great Nieces and Nephews many In-laws and extended family all who loved him and all to mourn the huge gap that was left. Gerald was predeceased by his son Joshua September 27th  1999.

Well Lord, you took someone from my family this past week. I know you will take care of him, put him to work because he was a working man. The bluest of blue collar, he can do any job you ask of him God because that is what my Uncle G was like. He was a do’er.

I will be praying tonight lord. I will be praying for you to put a calmness and warm feeling into my families hearts.

I don’t say goodbye, but I will say see you later. Gerald Koch, my Uncle G. I’ll see you later. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Edmonton Crematorium & Funeral Home, 6403 Roper RD NW, Edmonton, AB.
