Born in Pauri, Garhwal, Durga had a flair for sciences since childhood. After working for different labs all over north India, he finally retired as a deputy director from Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) in New Delhi

He moved to Canada in 2006 to spend quality time with his son and grandchildren. He loved the abundance of nature and culture Canada had to offer and enjoyed spending time traveling and exploring.

His social and helpful attitude touched many hearts and made long lasting friendships.

May God give him the best seat in Heaven and his soul rest in forever peace.
