Betty-Anne Cunningham Obituary

Betty-Anne Cunningham, our loving Mother, passed away on February 24, 2024.  


She will be missed by her sons Allan Birkholz, Terry Birkholz, and daughter Lynda Hovestad (Birkholz). Betty-Anne was predeceased by her youngest daughter Tammy Birkholz in 2013.


Born in Edmonton on September 20, 1944, Betty-Anne lived in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and Camrose, throughout her life. Once she had raised her kids, Betty-Anne then advanced her education to become an LPN and worked in Camrose.  


Betty-Anne was always available for a good chat, and enjoyed visiting with her kids on Vancouver Island or in Edmonton.  Going for drives in the country on a beautiful evening was especially a favorite thing for her to do in the summer.  


The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at to St. Joeseph’s Auxillary Hospital, Palliative Care Unity for their kindness, support and care.


Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
